Practice -Web Based Projects :
Here are a few projects I've created in order to teach myself Web Design.
These project were created using online coding resources such as codecademy.com, liveweave.com.
Nearly all images were found online and used strictly for learning purposes.
I also used Adobe programs like; fireworks, dreamweaver, photoshop, & a cool free coding application called Brackets.

The following page is a preliminary mock-up featuring a java slideshow ( 7 sec auto page ) plus mouse related controls,
as well as a download link / online presentation in full resolution and size, mouse over-links on email addresses that activate
the resident email program for contact, and a fully functional google map with satellite view option.
( note: the split background shown below, was the only way I could present the entire page of information,
and the top section is coded as fixed and would remain consistent as the information scrolls. )
This was coded from scratch with the exception of the Java Script code for the slideshow ( found as free use online )
unfortunately, due to Weebly's "THEME" based site design... I could not present a sample of the working html versions
of these pages shown, so they are presented as still images.
I'm continuing to learn...
Over time... there will be more images and updates to this section of my portfolio.

HTML email design:
Shown below are three variations of a check up reminder email.
This project was created using online email resources such as inkbrush.com.
The First Design was full size and requires scrolling, the Second Design was created to eliminate the need to scroll to read the message,
and the Third Design was specifically formatted for Mobile devices.

I'm finding web based design very engaging,
and hope to pursue this form of media as my career moves forward. UI / UX Design also looks very interesting.
It's wonderful to have so many free web based learning resources and tutorials available.
Thanks to the contributors of those.
